Firoz Koh City (BNA) At least 12 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded during their attack on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in western Ghor province the other day.
Abdul Hatibi spokesman of Ghor governor told BNA, a group of Taliban militants attacked on security shells in different parts of Chahar Sada district of the province, which faced with full resistance of Afghan security forces and their attack repulsed.
According to the source, some weapons belong to armed oppositions have been seized by Afghan security forces.
