Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in his meeting with new Swedish ambassador to Afghanistan, congratulated him for his new job and hoped relations between the two countries could get strengthened, BNA reported the other day.
The CE appreciated Sweden cooperation in different fields, said the agency quoting a statement from the CE office.
Tobias Tilburg ambassador also expressed happiness over his new job and hoped he could strengthen relation between the two countries during his tenure as Swedish ambassador to Afghanistan, according to the agency.
He assured the CE of his country’s continuation of cooperation with Afghanistan.
In the meeting, some issues including the US new strategy for Afghanistan, Afghanistan regional relations, latest politico-security, elections, women presence and representation in the government of Afghanistan, support of Sweden from this partnership had been discussed between the two sides.
