Kabul (BNA) During a video conference with provincial governors, army corps and zones’ commanders, the provinces’ police chiefs, provincial national security heads, provincial and Ulama councils’ heads and a number of civil and military officials, the President spoke about the country’s ongoing situation and issued necessary instructions.
According to BNA report, attended by Second Vice-President and senior security and defense entities’ officials, during the video conference, the President congratulated Eid-ul-Fitr to all civil and military in-charges in the center and provinces and thanked them for ceasefire’s good management. Praising the initiative and coordination of the mentioned in-charges during ceasefire days, the President asked the local in-charges to share their experiences obtained during truce days, BNA added.
The President added the three-day ceasefire indicated there was demand the throughout consensus for peace, but the terrorist incidents occurred in eastern Nangarhar showed that the strangers cannot bear our peace and security and that is why they target the public people and peace. He added there is support in international level on ceasefire initiative and government peace and we have extended the onside ceasefire for another ten-days. BNA further added.
The President asked civil and military officials that despite preparations to defend to manage the ten-day ceasefire with complete coordination.
