Kabul (BNA) The personnel of security directorate of Nangarhar province detained a person on charges of smuggling 25 sacks of ammonium nitrate yesterday.
The Shamshad 202 police zone press office said to BNA, the arrested person placed the ammonium nitrate in a car and wanted to transfer it, was detained by police from Dorbaba district.
According to another report, police of Nangarhar security directorate discovered and defused a gallon full of explosive material which was placed by armed insurgents for destructive activities in Watapor area, Kama district of that province.
