Kabul (BNA) Nine kidnappers were arrested by policemen accused of abduction Mawlavi Atiqullah a member of Ulema and peace councils of Sar-e-Pul in Ali Zai village, center of the province.
Mohammad Zaher Wahdat governor of Sar-e-Pul told BNA correspondent, Col. Ziaullaq Eshaqzai commander of Sar-e-Pul-Jawzjan highway along with his five colleagues including his guards and driver are among the arrested people.
Mawlavi Atiqullah with his two bodyguards was abducted nine days ago from Sar-e-Pul-Jawzjan highway by unknown gunmen, but so far his fate is not clear, Sar-e-Pul governor added.
