Kabul (BNA) National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib met with head and members of the Wolesi Jirga (lower house) defense commission here yesterday, the office of national Security Council reported.
The meeting discussed the country’s overall situation, government’s peace plan and other important issues, the statement added.
NSA Mohib briefed the MPs on operation and achievements of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, the statement added. The commission members also shared their views regarding the operations.
Both sides emphasized on strengthening of government and parliament relations and continuing of such meetings, the statement concluded.
