Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah at the sideline of conference on counter-terrorism in Jaipure city of India met Mohammad Ibrahim Rahimpor, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister on Asia-Pacific and exchanged views on matters relating mutual interests including the situation in the region, war on terror and the Afghan refugees living in Iran.
In the meeting matters relating Chabahar Port was also discussed and Chief Executive Abdullah said that Indian Prime Minister and External Affairs Minister in their meetings promised that Indian government would look into the project on priority basis. Both Iranian dignitary and Chief Executive agreed that work on Chabahar and its utilizing should begin in its earliest.
