Trenkot (BNA) Nineteen Taliban insurgents have been killed in a series of recent clashes in Uruzgan.
The clashes took place last night in Trenkot city and Chaharchino district when the Taliban attacked military bases.
Nineteen insurgents, including four Pakistani fighters, were killed and six others were wounded in the clashes, the Atal Corps in the south said in a news release.
According to another report, the security forces prevented a series of explosions in Uruzgan by detecting and neutralizing 21 mines.
No one has been arrested in connection with the bombings.
