Jalalabad City (BNA) Two person were released by Afghan security forces from clutch of kidnappers in eastern Nangarhar province.
The persons have been abducted 10 days ago from Jalalabad city the provincial capital of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Nangarhar governor told BNA correspondent, the persons were released during a special operation led by Afghan security forces.
It is mentionable that a kidnapper was arrested during the operation as well, Khogyani added.
The kidnappers demanded a ransom of USD 100,000 from their families for releasing them, Khogyani further added.
The arrested persons appreciated efforts of Afghan security forces and asked from people to cooperate with Afghan security forces.
