Mullah Sharif Local Commander Of Taliban Joins Peace Process

Faryab (BNA) Mullah Sharif a local commander of Taliban along with his nine members joined peace process in Faryab province today.
This commander had activities against state and NATO forces in Pashtoon Kost district of Fayrab province.
A source of National Security Directorate told this news agency, due to efforts of this department this commander joined peace process.
Mullah Sharif in the joining ceremony promised that after this he would make endeavors in reconstruction and ensuring security in the country.
This local commander of Taliban also handed over his arms to the government.
Local authorities mentioned the increase of joining of armed Taliban in Faryab and called it positive in ensuring peace and stability in that province.
