Second Bamyan Research Function Held In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) A look in to Bamyan and Research in domestic and international spheres was the title of a gathering held yesterday at the information Press Center of Information and Culture Minister.
This is the second such gathering so far.
Sayed Askar Musuwi advisor to the Minister of Higher Education dwelt on the history, cultural importance and researches that have taken place about Bamyan.
Mrs. Nancy Dupree, US researchers and specialist on history of Afghanistan talked on the historic background, relics and her researches she has carried on the historic heritage on Bamyan.
At the end of this gathering, Ustad Nazim Shafahi historian and advisor of the President Office, Dr. Sayed Askar Musuwi and Ustad Deen Mohammad Jawed Researcher of Afghan history, provided information in a round  table on the cultural and historical roots of Bamyan.
The gathering has been initiated by the cultural and social center of Salam. Its first gathering was held in Iran.
