Maimana (BNA) Six Taliban rebels were killed by Afghan security forces in Faryab province last night.
Shaheen 209 army corps spokesman told BNA, the conflict occurred in Doulatabad district after Taliban attack on police checkpoints, six insurgents were killed and 14 others including Mawlavi Ihsanullah known Tofan senior commander of them were injured.
It is said that Taliban escaped from the area after heavy casualties, and no harm and losses incurred to security forces.
