Kabul (BNA) Police in Kabul have arrested two ring leaders of a gang of kidnappers, head of crime investigation department, general Mohammad Zhair said yesterday.
He added that Aslam and Baheer, of Nangahar province currently living in Peshawar of Pakistan.
Aslam had kidnapped a 15 year old boy and after receiving $ 100,000 as ransom to set him free.
Another kidnapper Baheer after abducing a person from Bagram and demanding 500,000 US dollars was arrested.
General Zahir said that kidnapping has been reduced over the past one year in Kabul and over the past three months three cases of kidnapping have been registered and all those involved have been captured.
