Kandahar (BNA) In a military operation in Kandahar, a Taliban leader was killed with his eight colleagues.
Qari Asrar Taliban leader was killed last night in his hiding place in Qari Salim Valley of Zheri district.
Kandahar police spokesman Jamal Naser Barakzai told BNA that Qari Asrar and his men were planning a series of terrorist attacks that were targeted by security forces.
He confirmed that Qari Asrar with his eight colleagues have been killed in the operation.
At the end of the operation, several Taliban weapons fell into the hands of security forces.
