Jalalabad (BNA) 69 armed insurgents were killed in recent attacks in Nangarhar province.
The attacks carried out by Afghan air and ground attacks of security troops on strongholds of terrorists, tens of other terrorists were also injured.
According to reports, Afghan air forces conducting air and ground attacks on hideouts of Taliban in Hesarak district.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, in the raids, 69 armed Taliban including their nine commanders lost their lives and tens others were injured.
Tens of Taliban hideouts with weapons caches were also destroyed.
It is said that there were no any harm and casualties incurred to security troops and civilians in the raids.
Another report says that 16 armed Taliban militants were killed in a conflicts by security forces in parts of Nangarhar province.
The insurgents were targeted in different separate events by security forces and killed.
