Monday July 24, 2017

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Unity Government said a fair, transparent and inclusive process for the upcoming election was impossible unless cooperated by the people and the political figures, said his office in a statement the other day. Addressing the second gathering of the youth parliament, the country CEO said that the youth can make the biggest part of the country’s population and this is why they have heavier responsibility than others. “The parliament of Afghanistan youth, in addition to practicing democracy, can help in the field of employment, public services and providing sound consultation with the government,” said Dr. Abdullah adding they had the right to criticize the government of national unity fearlessly to help us address the challenges available. “We need public planning to return people trust and launch a democracy based election, as the people cooperation is a need to a transparent election with inclusive monitoring and partnership,” said the CEO adding the government was committed to hold an timely, fair and transparent election, the statement added.
Political leaders should first think about the outcomes of their decisions and actions and as a movement can possibly disturb general situation, he advised. He said the country’ political leaders should think on how we could work to rescue the country. “If we focus on the current situation, we will find that our responsibility is heavier than our claims,” said Dr. Abdullah likening Afghanistan as a stalwart tree and its roots and branches as youth and teenagers, warning any discard and discrimination could be a plague harming it. The CEO promised to take needed step about their suggestions, considering the possibilities available.
