Maimana (BNA) Twenty armed Taliban were killed in Faryab last night.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaei, spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told BNA that the Taliban were killed in an operation by defense and security forces backed by the air force in Sabz area of Pashtun Kot district of Faryab province.
He added that 15 other Taliban militants were wounded during the operation, and four enemy bases and hideouts were destroyed.
