Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) signed yesterday memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Afghanistan Islamic and Consultative Financial Company and UAE’s al-Maali Islamic Consultative Group for development of Islamic banking system and funding Islamic financial system in Afghanistan.
The agreement was signed by ACCI deputy Khanjan Alokozai and representatives of AICFC and MICG in Kabul.
Based on the agreement, both sides by holding training workshops, conferences, scientific seminars and discussions in media will aware and cooperate with private sector and organizations affiliated with ACCI related to Islamic banking system.
Meanwhile, both sides by holding particular informative programs for ulama and scholars would make efforts to expand Islamic banking and financial system according to Sharia. Both sides also agreed to hold professional exhibitions related to Islamic banking services and financial system for enhancement of public awareness in connection with such financial systems.
