Kandahar (BNA) Eleven Taliban insurgents were killed by security forces
operation in Kandahar last night.
Spokesman for the Special Operations Corps told BNA that the Taliban were killed in an air and security operation launched by the air force in the Maiwand and Shawalikot districts of Kandahar province.
The source added that seven other armed Taliban were wounded in the operation and some of their weapons were destroyed
