UAE Eases Visa Process For Afghan Citizens

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Salahuddin Rabbani, met with charge de affairs of United Arabic Emirate’s embassy in Kabul here yesterday, a MoFA statement said.
At the outset, UAE charge de affairs presented the invitation letter on behalf of his country’s Foreign Minister to Salahuddin Rabbani, adding that the conference would be on “Security and Peace in Middle East” and termed Rabbani’s participating vital. Thanking the UAE invitation, Minister of Foreign Affairs called the conference important for the region and accepted to participate in it. “The regional countries facing great challenges and the conference of Security and Peace in Middle East would pave the ground for solving of such issues,” Minister Rabbani added, expressing gratitude on new agreement that has been made to solve the UAE visa problem for Afghan citizens. Recently as a result of the joint efforts of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior Affairs with UAE side, it has been agreed that in order to solve the problem of UAE visa for Afghan citizens, the details of their previous handwriting passports should be inserted on the last page of their new e-passports.
