Maidan-Shaher (BNA) By constructing six irrigation canals in Maidan-Wardak, ten thousands of peasants’ fields were irrigated.
These canals built during recent months in Maidan-Shaher and Chek district, it has led to a remarkable boom in cultivation and labor.
Walid Ahmad Tasel head of irrigation agriculture and livestock of Maidan-Wardak told BNA, the construction of these six canals cost 84 million Afghanis.
Ten thousands of irrigational farms were irrigated in Chek District and Maidan-Shaher he added.
Tasel confirmed that the construction of these canals has boosted cultivation and work in Maidan-Shaher and Chek district.
