Nine Taliban Militants Killed In ANA Operation

Lashkargah (BNA) At least six Taliban militants were killed and two others wounded during clearing operation led by Afghan National Army (ANA) in Helmand province last night.
Official of 215 Maiwand National Crops press office told BNA, the operation was launched in relevant areas of Nowzad district, Helmand province, as a result six Taliban insurgents were killed and two others wounded.
According to the source, some light and heavy weapons have been seized by ANA forces during the operation.
There were no casualties incurred to ANA personnel following the operation.
According to another report, clashes between Afghan National Police and Taliban militants in Gereshk district of Helmand province leaves three militants dead.
Local authorities in the province say, the incident took place, while the militants wanted to attack on security checkpoints in various parts of Gereshk district of the province, with full strengthen of Afghan security forces their attacks push back.
