NSC Assesses Security, Refugees’ Problems

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the National Security Council (NSC) meeting discussed security situation of the country and problems faced by the Afghan refugees abroad, a statement said the other day.
The meeting after hearing reports from the ministries of national defense and interior about the security challenges of some provinces, particularly, Helmand, Sar-e-Pul, Baghlan, Faryab, Farah, Kunduz, Logar and Laghman, issued the required instructions on elimination of the enemy and repelling security threats in the said provinces, the statement from the presidential office said. The NSC also investigated the problems of the Afghan refugees in the foreign countries and instructed the related organs for their voluntary returning to Afghanistan, the statement concluded.
