Afghanistan Reports 177 New Cases of COVID in the Last 24 Hours

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 177 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 48,540 on Wednesday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 13 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 1,921.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 7,900, as of Wednesday.

The total discharged cases are at 38,150 with 117 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 164,062 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 68,297,350 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,558,453 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
