Qala-e-Naw (BNA) Taliban shot and martyred a police officer in Qala-e-Naw, central Badghis, yesterday evening.
Feda Mohammad Pirzada, Badghis police chief, told BNA that the policeman was shot dead by the Taliban on his way home in the Shotorgardan area of the provincial capital.
He said the police officer was working in the technical department of the Badghis Police Command.
