Kabul (BNA) Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh introduced 12 ministerial nominees to Wolesi Jirga for vote of confidence, BNA reported on Saturday.
Considering the status quo, second Vice president introduced eligible, expert and experienced cadres to house for vote of confidence and the rest would be soon introduced, the agency further said.
The designate ministers are as follow:
1. Defense ministry’s nominees, Tariq Shah Bahrami
2. Interior ministry’s nominee, Wais Ahmad Barmak
3. Border and tribal affairs ministry’s nominee , Gul Agha Shirzai
4. Public works ministry’s nominee, Yama Yari
5. Economy ministry’s nominee, Mustafa Mastour
6. Higher Education ministry’s nominee, Najibullah Khwaja Omari
7. Mines and petroleum ministry’s nominee, Nargis Nehan
8. Labor and social affairs ministry’s nominee, Faizullah Zaki
9. Telecommunications and IT ministry’s nominee, Shahzadgul Ayoubi
10. Transport and aviation ministry’s nominee, Mohammad Hamid Tahmasi
11. Agriculture and Livestock ministry’s nominee, Nasir Ahmad Durani
12. Urban development ministry’s nominee, Mujib Rahman Karimi
This is while that the ministries of foreign n and information and culture are still led by acting ministers.
