UK To Help MoIC In Tourism Industry

Kabul (BNA) Acting minister of information and culture Dr. Kamal Sadat in a meeting with British deputy ambassador to Kabul discussed related to improvement of tourism industry in Afghanistan.
In the meeting, the British deputy ambassador to Kabul spoke related to role and improvement of tourism industry in Afghanistan, asserting that Afghanistan has historical monuments and beautiful views, so foreign tourists were interested in visiting Afghanistan and its tourist sites.
He also recalled of his country’s cooperation in connection with improvement of tourism industry in Afghanistan.  Afterwards, acting minister of information and culture briefed related to tourism industry in Afghanistan, adding that Afghanistan has beautiful views and historical monuments and MoIC would provide necessary facilities to foreign tourists in various areas of the country where there were lots of historical monuments and beautiful sites.
Praising UK for its cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields such as education, construction of roads, healthcare and others, acting minister of information and culture said Britain was one of the world’s countries which have provided much assistance to Afghanistan.
He also asked for further and expansion of cultural cooperation with ministry of information and culture.
