Minister Jahani Inaugurates Ahmad Shah Baba Tomb, Holy Cloak After Rehabilitation

Kabul (BNA) The construction work of Holy cloak and the tomb of Ahmad Shah Baba was concluded and Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul Bari Jahani inaugurated it by cutting ribbon yesterday, BNA reported.
At a cost of some 21 million Afghanis both the buildings were repaired. In the second day of his visit to Kandahar, minister Jahani, besides visiting historical sites in the old city also toured Qasr-e-Naranj and Mir Wais Nika tomb and received information. In talks with newsmen the minister for information and culture expressed satisfaction over the situation of historical sites and instructed concerned authorities to pay attention for preserving the monuments. He also said that talks would be held with UNESCO on preserving historical sites and the Qasr-e-Naranj would be fenced. Accompanied by his advisor and spokesman for the ministry of information and culture Haroon Hakimi, the minister also instructed media outlets to perform their duties in better manner.
