Taliban Sustained Casualties In Jawzjan Operation

Sheberghan (BNA) At least 8 armed Taliban were killed in operation conducted by Afghan security forces in Jawzjan province.
Mohammad Reza Ghafori Jawzjan governor spokesman told BNA, Afghan security forces started offensive operation for clearing Qush-Tapa districts from armed insurgents, in which 8 armed insurgents were killed, 10 others were wounded and a security post of local police and a Tank retaken from armed insurgents during the operation.
He added, in addition of casualties, two key commanders named Jandullah and Nesarullah have been killed.
It has been said, two police officers were wounded, but no casualties suffered to civilians in the operation.
