Trenkot (BNA) Twelve armed oppositions were killed and six others have been injured in attacks of security troops on Taliban strongholds in Urozgan and Zabul province.
The insurgents were suppressed during the recent days by air and ground raids.
ANA senior commander in south of the country told BNA, 12 armed oppositions were killed and six others were wounded in the attacks.
The Taliban were targeted in their strongholds while organizing a series of terrorist attacks in the two provinces, he added.
It is said that strongholds of the Taliban have been destroyed in the raids.
