Kabul (BNA) The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) says it continues to provide assistance to needy families in Afghanistan.
In the past week the ARCS has provided humanitarian assistance to more than 5,000 families in the provinces and Kabul.
The Red Crescent Society's media office, said in a statement that the donations included flour, oil, rice, soap, sugar, blanket, tents and kitchen tools.
The society says thousands of other Afghan families will be covered by the aid in coming days.
