Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has met with Zalmay Khalilzad, US special representative for Afghanistan.
In the meeting held yesterday at Gul Khana Palace and attended also by second vice president Sarwar Danesh and chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Zalmy Khalilzad while briefing President Ghani on his recent trip to Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Qatar and Saudi Arabia said US was ready to cooperate with Afghanistan peace led by the Afghan government and would continue its efforts in this regard.
The country’s President thanked him for the briefing and his efforts towards Afghanistan peace, adding that Afghanistan welcomes all efforts that lead to sustainable peace in the country.
