Afghanistan Not To Return To Dark Days: Khalili

Kabul (BNA) Second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili has said that Afghanistan would not return to the dark days again.
Addressing the audience to open the Hussainia Shuhada mosque in Kabul yesterday, the vice president noted that Afghanistan would go ahead towards progress.
In the ceremony attended by lawmakers, elders and government officials, Khalili described the construction of the mosque as a great step towards development of Islamic culture and education.
He also described the founder of the mosque, Ustad Hussain Shefaee as a great religious scholar, saying Ulema and religious scholars can play effective role in flourishing Islamic culture and unity among the people of Afghanistan.
