Kabul (BNA) Following the decrees 7, 34, 64 of the constitution and in order to implement the main targets and values of democracy, persuading the active participation of the people through free and fair visions in amendment and improvement of the national life, popularization of the partnership culture and institutionalization of the freedom of expression and press under the country’s enforced laws and safeguarding the national interests and ensuring the constitution’s related values the following issues, at the highest level of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s are approved:
1-Supporter of media and press.
Both the country’s President and First Lady are supporters of freedom of expression and press in the country.
2-The Support Ambassador of the freedom of expression and press. Ahmad Nader Naderi had been appointed as the main Support Ambassador for the freedom of expression.
3-Granting annual awards for the supporters of freedom of expression and press in Afghanistan. The country’s president and first lady will appreciate and provide those supporting freedom of expression and press and show devotion in these fields with awards annually.
