Dr. Abdullah Chairs Council Of Ministers Session

Tuesday August 8, 2017

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, council of ministers’ session was held yesterday at Sapidar palace in Kabul.
In the session, he said that the main agenda of the session was to discuss problems of five provinces and hear suggestions made by the provinces’ officials. He added that Bamyan, Badakhshan, Ghor, Kunar and Nooristan were the provinces which have not been paid attention so far and it was needed to discuss all problems of the respective provinces and find ways of solution. The country’s chief executive told ministers that the people of Afghanistan were supporting the government and were well-tolerated people, but they were anticipating that ministries should implement their commitments and address their problems so that we could get their satisfaction and avoid creating distance between the people and government. “Last week was not a good week for Afghanistan as enemies of the people massacred innocent civilians in Sar-e-Pul province and attacked on a mosque in Herat where a number of civilians were martyred”, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said, adding that terrorist groups by attacking on religious and holy places in the country wanted to create gap among the people, but the people of Herat acted against this vicious plan and said they would keep their unity, which was appreciable. Related to introduction of new designate ministers, the country’s chief executive said that national unity government has introduced new designate ministers and hoped that Lower House of parliament would cast vote of confidence to them.
