Kabul (BNA) The National Security Council with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair held special meeting to review the overall security situation in the country, a presidential statement said.
In the meeting, the defense and security ministers presented reports on the security forces’ operation against IS affiliates in Nangarhar, praising the ANSF performance and called the operation unprecedented which resulted to killing of dozens of the enemies. Besides hinting to government’s commitments on intensifying attacks against ISIS and rooting out the terrorist group, the NSC ordered necessary instructions to foil the ISIS’s vicious plans.
