European Fact Finding Team To Probe Into Dehmazang Deadly Incident, EU Ambassador

Kabul (BNA) The European Union Ambassador, Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin in his meeting with the CE First Deputy emphasized the police mission of the European Union would provide cooperation to find what was behind the Dehmazang bloody incident, BNA reported the other day.
Condemning the fierce attack led to the killing and injuring of hundreds of people, both sides spoke about comprehensive investigation into the case of Dehmazang, said the agency quoting the CE’s First Deputy asking the international community for providing technical cooperation with the Fact Finding Committee to inclusively clarify the incident.
The EU ambassador, meanwhile, vowed that the EU police mission was really interested to make clear the sides of the case and would provide cooperation with the fact finding team, as the ambassador said the EUPOL has ten years of experience in Afghanistan and would do effective cooperation in this respect, the agency quoted.
Electoral reforms was one of the key issues discussed at the meeting, with the CE First Deputy, Hajji Mohammad Mohaqiq saying the government, despite security threat was planned in reforms in the electoral system, but he said discussion on some issues were underway.
The EU ambassador asked for holding a transparent election in the country, as he said the international community was alongside a fair, free and transparent process in Afghanistan.
