MAIDAN/SHAHR CITY (BNA) About 9000 kg narcotic drug type of hashish have been discovered and demolished during a military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in Maidan/Wardak province the night before last.
Eimal Momand acting spokesman for 203 Tander army corps told BNA reporter, the military operation have launched in various parts of Sayed Abad district, Maidan/Wardak province, as a result seven armed oppositions were killed and nearly 9000 kg narcotic drug have been discovered and demolished.
An insurgent was injured and two motorcycles belonged to Taliban fighters have been destroyed during the military operation, Momand added.
Meanwhile, four members of Taliban group were killed by Afghan security forces in Chak district, Maidan/Wardak province.
According to another report, personnel of 203 Tander army corps succeeded to discover and neutralize five round of different type of mines in relevant areas of Paktika and Khost provinces.
