Osmani Gains Title Of “Messenger Of Peace”

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan’s Journalists Council selected Nangialai Osmani as a “Messenger of Peace” in the field of newspaper’s sport correspondent.
To appreciate the effective services rendered by Nangialai Osmani for introducing gymnasts living in western countries as well as for the reflection of these achievements, this institution selected Osmani as messenger of peace and sport reporter. General Director of Afghanistan’s Journalists Council, Hafizullah Barakzai says Nangialai Osmani is from among limited number of athletic reporters that made much effort for reflection of Afghan athletes’ achievements gained in abroad. Barakzai believes that Osmani always made effort to raise the prideful voice of athletes of Afghanistan in overseas so that the latters keep the flag of their country hoisted in the sky of those nations they are living.
Thanking journalists’ council of Afghanistan, Osmani says as a messenger, I want to be the voice of those athletes who are active in and abroad in the field of gymnastic. He also says in the course of his mission, he faced with great hurdles. But, he took all easy and tried his best to perform his duty before the society. Nangialai Osmani is the first who has introduced as a “messenger of peace” in the zone of sport reporting. He is also one of those journalists who reflected his journalist activities through a number of credible government and private publications such as the dailies of Hewad, Anis, Mandegar, The Kabul Times, Nenanai Afghanistan “Afghanistan Today” and a number of other publications active in capital, Kabul.
Because of worthy sport activities, he also gained gold medal, a cup of journalistic moral from boxing federation of Afghans residing in Europe from Haji Samim, an Afghan athlete in 60s. Similarly, he gained a gold medal from weekly Nenanai Afghanistan. Likewise, he gained a honorary gold medal from Nessar Ahmad Watandost, the first world champion of commando of Afghanistan and other medal from Feraidoon Mohammadi head of Yonki Van Keg Boxing Federation, as well as a gold medal from deaf athletes that adds to his prides.
