NUG Named New Cabinet Ministers

Kabul (BNA) Decree of President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan over appointment of 25 cabinet ministers, general director of national directorate for security and Governor of The Afghanistan Bank.
Based on verdict of 64th article’s 11th paragraph of Afghanistan’s constitution, the appointment and introduction of the following names as candidates for 25 posts of the ministries of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, general directorate for national security and Governor of The Afghanistan Bank are approved. State minister to parliamentary affairs is tasked to introduce the candidate ministers to Lower House of parliament for vote of confidence by following 91st article’s 3rd paragraph of the country’s constitution. The candidates introduced by the presidential decree to Lower House of parliament for vote of confidence are as follow:
1. Sher Mohammad Karimi, candidate minister for Ministry of National Defense.
2. Noor-ul-Haq Ulumi, candidate minister for Ministry of Interior.
3. Salahauddin Rabani, candidate minister for Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
4. Ghulam Jilani Popal, candidate minister for Ministry of Finance.
5. Ahmad Seyar Mahjor, candidate minister for Ministry of Justice.
6. Mohammad Zalmai Yunussi, candidate minister for Ministry of Education.
7. Mrs. Najiba Ayubi, candidate minister for Ministry of Women Affairs.
8. Dr. Abbas Basir, candidate minister for Ministry of Public Works.
9. Ferozuddin Feroz, candidate minister for Ministry of Public Health.
10. Yaqub Haidari, candidate minister for Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
2. 11. Dawood Sabah, candidate minister for Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.
12.  Barna Karimi, candidate minister for Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
13.  Nasir Ahmad Durani, candidate minister for Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
14.  Khatera Afghan candidates minister for ministry of Higher Education.

18.  Faiz Mohammad Usmani, candidate minister for Ministry of Religious Affairs.
19.  Faizullah Kakar, candidate minister for Ministry of Counter-narcotics.
20.  Ayee Sultan Khairi, candidate minister for Ministry of Information and Culture.
21.  Qamaruddin Shenwari, candidate minister for Ministry of Border and Tribal affairs.
22.  Sardar Mohammad Rahman Oghlo, candidate minister for Ministry of Economy.
23.  Sardar Mohammad Rahimi, candidate minister for Ministry of Trade and Commerce.
24.  Faizullah Zaki, candidate minister for Ministry of Transport.
25.  Shah Zaman Maiwandi, candidate minister for Ministry of Urban Affairs.
26.  Rahmatullah Nabil, candidate chief for NDS.
27.  Khalilullah Sadiq, candidate director of Afghanistan’s Central Bank.
Office of the state ministers for parliamentary affairs will introduce the candidate ministers to Parliament for votes of confidence.
