Lashkargah (BNA) Seven Taliban militants were killed in a clash by security forces in Helmand this morning.
The Taliban were targeted on the outskirts of Lashkar Gah last night when they tried to attack a convoy carrying troops.
Atel Army Corps media office in south of the country issued a newsletter saying that seven armed Taliban had been killed in the battle.
According to another report, an armed Taliban in Helmand was killed in his own mine explosion.
The bomber wanted to transfer a mine to unknown place, the mine exploded and killed him in suburb of Sangeen District bazaar.
