COVID-19; Afghanistan Reports 83 New Cases, 10 Deaths in the Last 24 Hours

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 83 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 51,847 on Saturday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 10 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 2,158.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 7,950, as of Saturday.

The total discharged cases are at 41,012 with 240 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 192,113 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 79,864,648 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,750,907 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
