Kabul (BNA) A workshop on “Capacity Building of Afghan journalists on research journalism” was organized with the support of Saba television in Kabul University yesterday, In his remarks, Jalal Nurani, the advisor to ministry for information and culture described the role of journalists as very important in society, saying the journalists by their pen not only fight against social evil, but also direct the society towards positive change.
Addressing at the workshop, a Kabul University professor Asmat Alahi, noted that journalists through writings and arts give shape to culture and civilizations.
In the five-day workshop, 55 journalists from across the country attended to exchange views on the bases of journalism, accounting, transparency and research journalism.
