NSC Declaration On Announcing Panjabi Taliban For Fighting Afghanistan

Monday September 15, 2014
Kabul (BNA) Pakistan’s Panjabi Taliban have declared for the second time in the past few days that they would continue their fighting in Afghanistan and work for peace in Pakistan.
From the point of National Security Council (NSC) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, such declaration of the Panjabi Taliban’s stance is not new and won’t mean a new approach in policy of the group and Pakistani intelligence network.
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has been under attack by terrorists trained, equipped and funded by Pakistani intelligence organs for the past several years. In recent terrorist attacks launched in various parts of our country, a large number of Pakistani terrorists have been killed and arrested. Recent declaration released by Panjabi Taliban related to extension of fighting in Islamic land of Afghanistan is indeed a declaration of Pakistani intelligence organs’ clear interference in internal affairs of our country and will mean intensification in killing of our innocent people.
NSC has closely followed the Panjabi Taliban’s declaration and is declaring once again that using from terrorism as interfering and destructing instrument won’t be in the interest of any countries.  Afghanistan and Pakistan can change our region to a place full of friendship, cooperation and economic development by following joint counterterrorism without discrimination. Any kind of action in this regard to reach particular goals in Afghanistan through arming and solicitation of terrorist will result in intensifying the crisis in the region and Pakistan. We’re asking once again from decision-making officials of Pakistan to say yes to Afghanistan’s invitation for prevention of terrorism and cooperate towards strengthening of stability and security in the two countries.
