Tuesday June 28, 2016

Kabul (BNA) The authorities of the AGO talking on serious efforts on preventing of corruption, said with the establishment of Legal and Judicial Center (LJC) decisive steps would be taken in this direction.
Talking on the creation of LJC and its activities, the AGO spokesman Basir Azizi said, “In order to make the efforts more effective to reduce corruption, the Afghan government needs a machine and the LJC can be used as such machine. He added, the goal of government and AGO is to offer better services to our people. The LJC would study all cases related to corruption including the usurpation of private and public properties. At the same time, welcoming creation of LJC, the house emphasizes that this center should study all case impartially and should try to gain trust of Afghan people. Mohammad Abdoh a lawmaker and member of the house Legal and judicial commission said, “Some people claim that this center is a parallel body with the country’s legal and judicial departments. While in practice it would not be parallel with the Supreme Court and AGO. This center would show to the world community that war on corruption is of particular position with the govt.
Mohammad Haider Hemmat a political commentator said, “It is expected that LJC would produce good outcome. The Afghan people want the Afghan government to have strong determination for uprooting of corruption. In opinion of Hemmat, lack of implementation of law, economic crisis, desertion of youth and capital and reduction of foreign aids emanate from corruption and only decisive intention can rescue Afghanistan from current situation. Experts believe that war on corruption can only be successful and effective that all responsible bodies work seriously and implement law on everybody evenly and indiscriminately. Kabir Ranjbar a lawyer believes that the president should keep the country’s legal and judicial branches under his direct supervision and uproot reasons of corruption. The Afghan government has taken a good step in this direction because corruption has caused all developments to be stagnated.
