Defense ministry spokesman said BNA, the national army troops conducted a cleansing operation in relevant areas of Panjwai district, Kandahar province, in which a quantity of ammunitions were seized. According to another report, 63 anti-vehicle mines which were planted recently by armed insurgents in Nangarhar and Khost province, discovered and defused by national army forces.
