Governor: 500 Displaced Families Received Aids, But Not Enough

Kabul (BNA) Cash, foodstuffs and winter packages have been distributed to 500 displaced families in northern Sar-e-Pul province yesterday.
The assistances have been provided by government, NGOs and businessmen.
Mohammad Zaher Wahdat governor of Sar-e-Pul told BNA reporter, the families displaced due to war from Tabar village, Sancharak district of the province and relocated in safe areas of Sar-e-Pul city the provincial capital of the province.
In this round each family received Afs 3000 funded from emergency committee, some foodstuffs and winter packages that provided by charity organizations, Wahdat added.
Wahdat added, distribution aids not enough for the families asking from government and businessmen to assist the families as soon as possible.
