NEELY CITY (BNA) Eight Afghan security soldiers were martyred following Taliban attacks on security shells in Daykundi province the night before last.
Based on reports, the incident took place, while a group of Taliban fighters stormed on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Patoo district of the province.
Security source in Daykundi told BNA correspondent, eight Afghan security troops were martyred and 10 others were wounded during the attacks.
Meanwhile, Daikundi governor said that reinforcement troops have been dispatched to Patoo district for annihilating armed oppositions.
