our difrrence with Pakistan

Monday June 20, 2016
Kabul (BNA) Afghan people expect the leadership of the country especially the diplomatic organs to raise the current problems with Pakistan and find the way of their solutions in order to prevent the supremacy and further influence of that country in Afghanistan.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes Torkham border area was the scene of armed clashes between Afghan and Pakistani forces last week, which caused casualties, and destruction for both sides.
Meanwhile, the incident badly affected transportation and trading between the two countries that caused heavy losses to merchants of both countries. However, what is important to focus on is the interest of the both countries for settling the Torkham problem and problems alike via diplomacy, which can be effective for improving cooperation between the two countries.
The way of ensuring contacts and establishing relation for settling the problems and improving relation is the obligation of diplomatic organ and the diplomats of the country but what causes the major concern of our people is the current tense relation with Pakistan.
Building military installations by Pakistan in Torkham is not the only problem that exists in relation between the two countries, Pakistanis interventions, aggressions and other violations of that country are going much beyond the Torkham’s incident.
The ambitious and unpractical objectives of Pakistani militarists go beyond the aim they wanted to achieve in Torkham. If they in disguise of Taliban conducting war in Wardouj district, Badakhshan province or they kill our innocent people in Helmand, destroying the infrastructure of homeland, plundering our mines, and establishing barrier on the way of our progress and prosperity, in reality are Pakistani troops conducting a proxy war against Afghanistan. If it is not so, General Parwiz Musharaf the then Pakistan president never called Taliban and Al – Qaeda the champions of Pakistan. The purpose of the above statement is that Pakistan is following much greater programs than raised in Torkham incident. Pakistan consider herself in the same rank with the countries helped Afghans in their Jihad and fighting against the then Soviet Union, such incentives and ideas have made Pakistan to think about designing strategic programs and asking for more privileges.
The Afghan delegation that goes to Pakistan will raise the newly created Torkham problem with Pakistani authorities, but, the Afghan people want the negotiations be constructive and transparent. The talks should not focus on only a specific issue, but, be the beginning for settling all problems that badly affect the relation between the two countries. If Pakistan talks about border problem, Taliban, Daesh and Al – Qaeda are major sources that create horrible problems for Afghanistan, have their sanctuaries and stronghold in Pakistan. Holding talks with terrorist groups who used by foreign intelligence, as a means of pressure against Afghanistan would be in vain. Therefore, it would be better, the diplomatic organs of the country conduct negotiations with Pakistan under supervision of credible international organizations in order the realities about illegal foreign policies regarding to Afghanistan become clear than ever before.
