Kabul (BNA) An active member of Taliban group was detained in Marja district of Helmand province today.
According to ISAF press release, this person assisted Taliban in providing of logistical and explosive material.
The source said this person has been detained in combined operation of Afghan and coalition forces from Marja district of Helmand province.
He has cooperated Taliban in Helmand province and a quantity of explosive materials and arms were seized from this person.
In another operation, the Afghan and coalition forces detained another local commander of Taliban from Maiwand district of Kandahar province.
This commander had active role in attacks on Afghan and collation forces and planting of roadside mine.
